I understand from your message that you are facing difficulties while running  LiveUpdate. Your system performance has been affected while running  LiveUpdate.
 
Darryl,  thank you for being patience and messaging us the detailed information, I really appreciate your cooperation in this matter.  Please note that Symlcsvc.exe is the Licensing Manager application which is important for the stable  running of  LiveUpdate. This problem has several causes, so there are several possible solutions. I suggest that you please follow the steps outlined below:
 
-- Restart your computer
-- Configure LiveUpdate for your Internet connection
-- Increase available hard drive space
