The Intellisync Software Development Kit (Intellisync SDK) lets you leverage your users' most popular PIM applications and devices, such as Microsoft Outlook and Palm OS® handhelds, to extend your reach and ensure that your users will be able to work with your service or product whether they are at home, at the office, or on the road. The Intellisync SDK provides two toolkit options for customers:
- Intellisync for Web XML toolkit, which is a quick time-to-market synchronization solution for Intellisync SDK and Runtime licensees who wish to synchronize their Web-based application with leading PIM software and devices, including Microsoft Outlook, Palm OS handhelds, and many others.
- Intellisync for Desktop toolkit, designed for Intellisync SDK and Runtime licensees who want to synchronize their desktop application with essential PIM software and handheld devices.

Intellisync SDK solution: If you're looking to develop a Web-based solution, the Intellisync for Web XML toolkit provides a pre-built, customizable Intellisync desktop client and Connector - ideal for customers who are looking to deploy a synchronization solution immediately, with minimal development work. Your developers do not need to implement any code on the client - only the server-side code in XML to communicate with your custom application.
For desktop-based sync solutions, the Intellisync for Desktop toolkit includes a pre-built Connector and easily customized/branded Intellisync desktop client. Your developers do not need to implement any code on the client - only the COM DLL to communicate with your custom application.
